Rhodiola Rosea for Mental and Physical Enhancement

Rhodiola rosea is a flowering plant that is also called golden root, rose root, and other common names around the world. It is found in Arctic regions in North American, Europe and Asia, where locals have been using it for centuries.

The root powder and extract of rhodiola are used in alternative medicine and nutritional supplements.

Rhodiola rosea is an adaptogen used to promote physical and mental strength. These are its most noted benefits:

  • Reduces fatigue and stress.
  • Improves physical performance.
  • Enhances mental health and mood.
  • Improves memory and cognitive function.
  • Protects heart tissue from oxidative damage.
  • Promotes longevity.

How Effective is it?

Rhodiola rosea has been proven to have different health benefits in clinical studies. You should not expect any immediate improvement, however. Give it at least a few weeks to take full effect.

Effectiveness varies for each individual, and it is possible that you don't see significant results, which is a typical oddity with dietary supplements in general.

What is the Typical Dosage?

There is no widely accepted ideal dosage of rhodiola rosea, but it is recommended not to exceed 680mg per day.

As a first-time user, you can start with a 200mg-300mg daily dose.

What are the Side Effects?

Rhodiola rosea is safe for daily use. No side effects have been documented in clinical studies or reported by consumers.
